The Program

Australia Awards Cambodia (AAC) is a multi-year Program managed by Coffey International Development (a Tetra Tech Company) on behalf of the Australian Government which commenced 1 July 2018.

AAC provides long and short-term study and training opportunities (Scholarships and Short Courses) within the framework of the Australia Awards Global Strategy. AAC also delivers a range of activities that support achievement of the investment’s objectives, in the areas of:

  1. English language and pre-departure training
  2. Equity pathways program
  3. On-award enrichment
  4. Alumni engagement (AE)

The Position

The Alumni Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the effective, efficient and targeted engagement with a broad range of alumni to support the objectives of the Australia Global Alumni Engagement Strategy (2016-2020) and Australian Alumni in Cambodia Engagement Strategy (2017-2020), to proactively support the program’s achievement of end-of Investment outcomes.

The role is responsible for the design, delivery and continuous improvement of alumni engagement activities, and for expanding the program’s reach to include all cohorts of alumni who have studied in Australia. This work is guided by the strategic approach to alumni engagement as stated in the Program Enrichment (PE) Strategy 2018-2022 and underpinned by Global and Cambodian Strategies to consolidate institutional and people-to-people links between alumni and Australia.

The Person

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. marketing. media, event management).

Have Demonstrated experience in related field relevant to Alumni engagement, developing and maintaining effective working relationships and managing the delivery of activities for a large project or program

The successful candidate will able to demonstrate knowledge in Alumni engagement and practices and understanding of the Australian Higher Education sector and posses high level presentation, planning, writing skills and computer skills. They will have excelelnt problem solving skills, team work skills and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

This position is locally engaged and reserved for citizens of Cambodia
