- Short term opportunity for an ICT Contractor with the Fiji Program Support Facility

The Program
The Fiji Program Support Facility (the Facility) was established in 2017 to support and implement Australia’s aid programs in sectors including health, education, Australia Awards and governance in Fiji. The Facility also supports the Australia Awards and Education programs in Tuvalu.
The Facility integrates cross-cutting themes, including gender equality, disability inclusion, climate change, emergency preparedness and response and civil society engagement, across sectoral programs. The Facility seeks to strengthen program outcomes by better addressing the needs of targeted beneficiaries including those who are often marginalised.
The Position
The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Contractor supports the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) to plan, develop, implement and document the ICT requirements of the NDMO. The focus for this position will be the National Emergency Operations Centre’s (NEOC) ICT C3 infrastructure which comprises of hardware and software platforms and cloud with externally hosted services. S/He will train the NDMO staff and other users in the competent use of NEOC C3 system and that the NEOC C3 system is developed in line with the wider NDMO ICT system requirements.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a degree level tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology with at least 2 years of work experience in IT infrastructure. Certification in IT or Information System security such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or GIAC is desirable. The candidate must have excellent technical knowledge of and experience with a variety of technologies including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, cloud-based storage systems, Microsoft System Centre, Azure, Windows Desktop OS, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, SharePoint Online and ITIL.
Furthermore, they will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
