The Program
Australia Awards in Indonesia (AAI) is managed by Coffey, a Tetra Tech company, on behalf of the Australian Government. Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia's development cooperation program with Indonesia and has enjoyed strong support from both governments for more than sixty years. Australia Awards in Indonesia addresses two key challenges: to fill a gap in the pool of individuals with the higher-level capacity to contribute to Indonesia's development; and to address the need for a strong relationship based on mutual understanding between Australia and Indonesia.
In 2016, Australia Awards in Indonesia (AAI) launched the new Alumni Grant Scheme (AGS). The purpose of the new AGS is to support the application and sharing of knowledge and experience gained by Indonesian alumni during their studies in Australia. The grant scheme is intended to facilitate the strengthening of linkages between Indonesians and Australians.
The Position
AAI is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified reviewer and technical experts to assess Alumni Grant Scheme’s proposals and provide the inputs for further round. The intention of the EOI is that successfully assessed experts would join the Alumni Grant Scheme Review Panel.
The Assessment will include; Assessing individual eligible applications against selection criteria, categorised and scoring individual assessed applications (comparative assessment), and making recommendations for funding.
The Person
AAI is seeking Indonesian National experts for Alumni Grant Scheme Reviewer. AGSR is an independent, impartial team of experts appointed by Australia Awards in Indonesia to provide a rigorous assessment of merit of applications by individuals with knowledge and expertise appropriate for the applications they are reviewing.
Since the current AGS round of application underlines project proposals that are linked to COVID-19 recovery efforts, applicants that have background, experience, understanding or knowledge on COVID-19 are strongly encouraged to apply. All applicants are encouraged to download and read carefully the AAI documents for AGSR, outlining the AGS Program, application procedure, requirements and selection details prior to submitting applications.
Please note that Coffey will only contact those applicants successful in progressing to the next stage of the selection process.
* This position is locally engaged and reserved for National Citizens of Indonesia.
**** Candidates currently living in Indonesia are strongly encouraged to apply.
